Cookie notice
Last updated 31 July 2026
This is a short page because there is not much to tell you.
1. This website
This marketing website sets no cookies at all. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no session cookie, nothing that follows you to another site. That is also why you were not asked to dismiss a consent banner: under the ePrivacy rules, consent is required for storing or accessing information on your device, and we do neither.
Our server keeps standard request logs, including IP address, for thirty days to keep the site available and secure. That is covered in the privacy notice and is not a cookie.
2. The Firespark application
The logged-in application at app.firespark.ie uses cookies that are strictly necessary to run it. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent.
| Purpose | Type | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| Keeping you signed in | Strictly necessary | Session, plus a refresh token you can revoke by signing out |
| Remembering which location you are viewing | Strictly necessary | Session |
| Protecting forms against cross-site request forgery | Strictly necessary | Session |
3. The booking widget on a sauna’s website
The embedded widget stores a short-lived reference to an in-progress booking so a customer does not lose a held seat if the page reloads. It is cleared when the booking completes or the hold expires. It contains no advertising identifier and it is not used to profile anyone.
If a sauna adds its own analytics or advertising tags to its website, those are the sauna’s responsibility, on the sauna’s own cookie notice. We do not add any.
4. Controlling cookies
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop you signing in to the application, because that is what they are for.
